The Nova Scotia Community College is set to host Fall Flair ‘07 at the Burridge Campus on Friday, November 2nd at 7 p.m.. The event will mark the official launch of the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation’s 6th annual Christmas Appeal.
Fall Flair, a cocktail event, is a celebration of Nova Scotia’s bounty of food and select Nova Scotian wines. A variety of culinary delights will be prepared by guest chefs Eric Matuchet and Raimer Fuhlendorf along with the culinary arts students from the Nova Scotia Community College, Lunenburg Campus.
The cost of the event is $50 per person. All proceeds will be donated to the Foundation in support of the Christmas Appeal. A portion of the ticket price is a charitable donation and will be receipted accordingly. The focus of the appeal this year is to raise funds for a new ICU ventilator at a cost of $47,000. A ventilator is commonly referred to as a ‘life support’, providing oxygen to those who are unable to breathe on their own.
Tickets to Fall Flair ’07 are limited. To reserve your ticket, please contact the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation at 749-1669 or Burridge Campus at 742-3501.
