Annual Fundraisers

Yarmouth Hospital Foundation has four annual fundraisers (or dedicated campaigns) throughout the year. For each of these, we announce a specific area of urgent need and/or a specific piece of equipment for your regional hospital that we are raising funds towards with the appeal.

 

Donation Programs

Yarmouth Hospital Foundation runs several other donation programs, because perhaps you’ve been motivated to connect with us because of a special someone. Maybe that’s a beloved family member, and you’re making a donation in loving memory or because they have a deep affinity for your regional hospital?  Consider our Gifts in Memory or Special Occasion & Gratitude Gifts programs.  Maybe you or someone you love experienced exceptional care from the dedicate healthcare workers at YHF and you’re looking for a way to say ‘thank you’. Our Words of Gratitude initiative is a way to acknowledge someone who has gone above and beyond, and to pay-it-forward.

 

You can always make your donation by phone at 902-749-1669. Our office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.

      • A gift by cheque, credit card or e-transfer is the most common way to give. You may also give online.
      • Monthly giving allows you to donate over 12 months by pre-authorized withdrawals from your bank account or recurring charges on your credit card.
      • A gift of stocks, bonds or securities is also an option. No income tax is paid on capital gains generated by this type of donation.
      • Plan for the Future: You may wish to support our hospital through a gift in your will, or you may choose to make the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation the beneficiary of an insurance policy.

     

    Unless otherwise specified, or received during a dedicated campaign, Yarmouth Hospital Foundation will always direct your donation to the area of greatest need. Thank you for your generosity.
