Gifts in Memory
Flowers have traditionally been the most common sympathy gift. However, many families today are requesting memorial donations in lieu of flowers. A memorial donation to Yarmouth Hospital Foundation is a way to honor both the deceased and their family while making a meaningful contribution to better health care in our community.
|Kay Balmanno regularly contributes to Yarmouth Hospital Foundation in memory of her late husband, Dr. James (Jim) Balmanno. “Support for our hospital is dear to my heart,” says Kay.|
|Gladys Bower is a firm believer in giving local. “So many people want you to donate to a variety of causes,” Gladys says, “that at some point I just decided to give in memory of people to Yarmouth Hospital Foundation because everybody’s going to need the hospital at some time in their life.”|
We send the family a beautiful card to notify them of your gift. The amount of gifts is kept confidential. You will receive a letter and tax receipt for your memorial donations.
Memorial cards are available at all funeral homes in the area or you can receive a supply for your own personal use. Click here to obtain a supply of memorial cards or call (902) 749-1669.
