YRH is a Teaching Hospital
In 2014, YRH was selected as a new Family Medicine Training site, creating five family residency training spots. In 2019, the
Dalhousie Faculty of Medicine set up a second residency program in Yarmouth, this time for community general internists who
will complete their final two years of training under the supervision of Dr. Brian Moses. YRH is also the Yarmouth
campus for the Dalhousie School of Nursing. For a brief history of YRH, click here.
